A Child's War

Hi! My name is Emily.
My father and brother are off to war.
I wish they didn’t have to go but they have to. So now it’s just me and my mam at home. Me and my mam cry ourselves to sleep, night after night. My mam’s sick to her stomach she’s so overwhelmed by it all. I try to hide my fear but it’s so hard.
Lord please help me cope.
